Marco van Basten is considered one of the greatest footballers of all time. He started his career at Ajax Amsterdam, where he quickly became a key player in the team. He won three Eredivisie titles and the European Cup with Ajax before moving to AC Milan in 1987. At Milan, van Basten enjoyed even greater success, winning three Serie A titles and two European Cups. He was renowned for his incredible technical ability and his eye for goal, scoring an astonishing 276 goals in 373 games throughout his career. Unfortunately, injuries forced him to retire at the age of 28, but his legacy lives on as one of the most talented and successful footballers to have ever played the game.
